To Fellow Dakota and Nakota and Lakota Sioux Oyate
I want you all to know that I am proud to see so much sharing on the site amongst the humans that seek the truth about the anscestors and about where we all have come from. The sharing is so great and giving, and done with the obvious intent and knowledge that it will benefit all of us regardless of the specific information that each individual post and request may encompass. This is good......this is what it is all about.....this is the temprement that we need to help each individual inquiring soul to seek the accomplishment of trying to connect the circle that we all, collectively, seek to connect. So many new hearts rejoice when they learn of the unconditional sharing that occurs when you only step forward to ask the questions and respectfully ask that others search their own individual banks of historical and research wealth over the years, that it is a given, that someone, someway, will reach out to help those in need...... of information, and of connection to the whole.
This sharing comes at an important time for us all. Our collective goal to learn the truth for us all, is so all consuming some times that we forget some of the important virtues of what it means to help our brothers, our sisters, our shirttail relatives, our distant aquaintances, that we reach a point in our busy lives, where we need to stop and appreciate the gifts that we have been given, like the sharing that is happening now, and in the past.
It is noble to reach out to others as many on this wonderful site have, and will, to those that request important information about their own. I hope that those of us that have been a part of this site never forget our first inquiries of the group, when we may have felt like we were asking too much or that we were stepping over our bounds to ask others for the help that we all need to try to understand the history..........
I think all of us that have posted, can look back to a time when we thought we were lost in our endeavors to seek the truth of our anscestors and our llineage, and acknowledge that we all were like fawns in the wilderness, hoping to see the fluttering whitetails of our leader, to see the safe path of which we should follow. You all know how that felt and how it felt to have the group of caring individuals on the site, to point the logical direction of which we, the fawn, needed to look to.
This is the beauty of the continued sharing of information.
The court case on appeal will take care of itself, with the logical and sound arguments that have been made in order to turn back the doublespeak arguments of the government and its henchmen, who try to distort and disrupt the neverending journey toward that ultimate truth of what has and is happening to our people. The antagonists only wish that they can fragment us into groups and individuals that have no common goal........ the antagonists wish that we will all grow frustrated with each other when we have differences over lineage ideas and conclusions......those antagonists do not know of our collective and individual power of unity and caring.........they do not estimate or anticipate that we all can rise above petty indifferances and meaningful disputes, in order to present ourselves as one, in the face of the common opponent, which in this case, is the doublespeaking government and their collaberating community accomplices, the Prairie Island and Shakopee communities, by and through their corporate legal teams.
We have the truth on our side. We have the will on our side. We have the diligence on our side. We have all of our individual histories on our side. And most importantly, we have the spirit of our anscestors on our side, and pushing us all with that unseen hand at our backs, that we cannot ignore, nor do we want to let them down.
The history of our endeavor is yet to be written......it is being written with every step that we take to seek the truth for us all.
This is something that we cannot avoid nor forget.........We are who we are.....we are who our anscestors were....we are who the children are........we are who those in the future, will look back, and say, who we are........we all need to honor ourselves and those that graced the Holy trail before us, so that when they write the actual history of who we are, they have a clear and honest picture of those of us who fought for and tried, to obtain that moment in time, when we could all look each other into our own eyes, and say that we all did what we could while we could, to undertand and expose, and celebrate, the truth of our collective and individual ancestrey.......which, was, a noble and great heritage of the people that we all come from.
Stay strong and diligent......please.
